It is important to note that 'counselling' is used as quite a blanket term, and each therapist will have their own style and specialities. Many of our therapists off one free session, or a reduced rate session, in which you may chat through your own hopes for the process and see if the therapist is right for you. Remember therapy is a process and one built on trust, if you don't feel comfortable at the first session you should not feel obliged to continue. Counselling is a very personal journey and you need to feel secure in the relationship.
