First meeting for new mental health support group

By William Smith

A new support will hold its first meeting Monday 18th July in Ilford.

The RootCause group invites people with family and friends who are affected by mental health issues to come along.

The group offers help and advice particularly aimed at black and other ethnic minority groups in the area.  Organisers say that anyone is very welcome to come along.

At the first meeting focus will centre on the emotional impact on those connected to people who suffer with mental health difficulties.

Mental health legislation is also on the agenda particularly for those who want to find out how to access mental health support services in the Redbridge area.

The venue for this meeting is Vine Church in Riches Road, Ilford at 7pm.
