Charlotte comments 'I am delighted to be considered among the top 55 young women in Britain, it is both humbling and something I am very proud of. The shortlist includes many incredible women who are doing such inspirational things. It is wonderful to have the opportunity to shine a light not on myself, but upon the work that I am so passionate about.'

Mental Healthy is recognised not just once, but twice on the list of award nominees, with Simon Dolan co-founder (pictured with Charlotte) being shortlisted as 'Mentor of the year' for his support of young women in business. Simon has already been named 'Entrepreneur of the year 2011 and it is his investment in the entrepreneurs of the future that has seen his achievements recognised once more.

Created by Pinky Lilani OBE in 2006 with Caspian Media, the Women of the Future awards celebrate the next generation of British female talent, aged 35 and under, across business, the professions, the arts, media and science and technology.

The pair put mental health firmly in the spotlight with the launch of Uncovered magazine, the first mental health magazine to hit the newsstands last year. Uncovered magazine became  www.mentalhealthy.co.uk earlier this year, a 2000+ page free web resource for mental health news, views, community and expert information, helping over 30,000 people every month.

Her Royal Highness Princess Zahra Aga Khan and Cherie Blair are patrons of the awards and previous winners include online retail supremo Holly Tucker of notonthehighstreet.com, Thea Green, founder of Nails Inc, and Lisa Smosarski, launch editor of ‘freemium’ magazine Stylist.

The award winners will be announced at the Women of the Future Awards ceremony at the London Marriott Hotel, Grosvenor Square on Wednesday November 16, 2011.

Pinky Lilani OBE said: Charlotte Fantelli is a credit to her field. Britain’s long-term economic, cultural and societal prosperity is becoming increasingly dependent on the talent and ability of our young women who are leading the way in arts, business, science, technology and public service sectors.

“The strength of this year’s shortlist is testament to the exceptional wealth of female pioneers making their mark in their respective fields.

Graham van’t Hoff, chairman of Shell UK, said: “Women are achieving more than ever before and this year’s shortlist truly evidences the calibre and talent of young women in the UK.

“It is so incredibly important that we take these opportunities to recognise the female leaders of tomorrow and reward them for the dedication, passion and drive for their work. As a sponsor, we are proud to be involved with such an inspirational force for good which champions the UK’s brightest lights.”
