Bannatyne Spa review

Reader review

Sandy from East Sussex, an Uncovered reader and spa fanatic gives us the lowdown on her experience of The Bannatyne Spa Hotel Hastings.

“I am a HUGE fan of a good spa – in fact I would travel far and wide to feel ultimately pampered – but my recommendation would be Bannatyne’s in Hastings.  Why? you may ask.  Well, firstly: value!  I have not encountered another Hotel spa where you have so many facilities and so much included in a package for such a great price.

I went with a group of friends and we all had a wonderful time.  The hotel itself is a great mix of old and new, the grounds and surroundings are very well kept and tranquil (adding to the whole ‘escapism’).  The inside is clean and modern, although some rooms include lovely original features.

The food was very good and reasonably priced.  The fitness facilities were second to none; if you are a gym bunny like me it is worth staying here for this alone!

The range of things on offer was amazing, I only went overnight but will go back for a week next time to make the most of the tennis courts, free use of a neighbouring golf course and I may even have my hair done!

All in all, this is the best spa hotel in the price range that I have yet found!

One-night stay for two includes full breakfast; unlimited use of the pool, sauna and steam room; use of the gym Facilities and workout classes.

Midweek (Sunday-Friday) £159

Weekend (Saturday) £185
