New hair - new me!

I think that I am about the least vain person I know but in saying that I feel like a new person since I had my hair cut off and re-styled. I can thoroughly recommend it.

We write about the importance of looking good to feel good and I think it actually works. I have had very long hair for years. I used to 'scrag' it up in a clip on the back on my head and it looked pretty much OK. I decided that I had looked the same for too long and off I went to the hairdressers. I told them they could do whatever they wanted with it which was, initially, a grave mistake. The lovely little girl who cut my hair was a bit timid and gave me a look like she had put a basin on my head and cut around!

I have never been one to complain unnecessarily but after a word to the owner of the shop (he was on the desk when I went to leave and inquired how I liked my new style) he re-styled it again and WOW it looks great. It is more drastic than I would have imagined I would have ended up with but it looks really good.

Everyone loves it and I feel good with it. Even my confidence has had a boost. Who could imagine that a new hairstyle could make such a difference. I can thoroughy recommend getting a new image - it bucks you up and makes you notice yourself again. I will try to get a new photograph up on site so that you can take a look too.

Here here! Or should that ne hair hair! I have recently gone through a divorce and the other day had a complete change of hair style - it gave me a new confidence, just the boost I needed.
