Tuna: rich in high quality proteins, selenium, magnesium, potassium, omega 3 and B vitamins.
Seared Tuna steaks with salsa verde.
2 tuna steaks (150/160gm each)
Salt and pepper

Heat a heavy-based frying pan until very hot. Drizzle with a little olive oil and add the Tuna steaks, sear them for about 45/50 seconds each side seasoning with a little salt. Serve with some fluffy steamed rice and tender steamed vegetables with a big dollop of the salsa verde.
Searing the tuna for about 50 seconds each side will keep it nice and pink in the middle, but you might need to leave it a bit longer depending on the thickness of the steaks and on the way you prefer it.
