Linda Kay

Linda Kay MBACP (Snr. Accred)

You may be feeling sad, angry, confused, guilty, anxious or fearful. Often difficult feelings have their roots in the past, particularly if there has been abuse. Perhaps you are suffering from panic attacks, insomnia, addiction or eating problems? Sometimes you can't put your finger on what the problem is - you just feel troubled, low or anxious and unable to function well on a day-to-day basis.

Linda offers a safe, confidential space in which you can talk about whatever is troubling you. She will listen to what you have to say and support you to find your own solutions.

Understanding the reasons why you feel depressed, anxious, angry, guilty or confused can help you to develop ways of coping with these feelings in the future. It can also help you to recognise and change unhelpful patterns in your thinking and behaviour. You may learn to be more assertive in your relationships and you may develop better self-esteem. Often it is only when we talk to someone unconnected with our lives that we begin to hear what we are really saying and feeling.

Just being able to talk completely honestly about how you feel and to be heard can be tremendously healing. Talking about aspects of yourself that you find shameful or unacceptable and knowing that you are accepted without judgement can help you be more accepting of yourself.

5 minutes walk from Glastonbury town centre. Off-street parking is available.
