Gabriela Wright

Gabriela Wright BACP, Senior Registered Counsellor

Working with a qualified counsellor is essential (BACP Accreditation is a good yardstick) and to feel comfortable with the counsellor would enable you to feel free to really explore your issues.

'People say I'm easy to talk to and they don't feel judged by me but that I can also challenge when necessary! I'm continually inspired by the rewarding changes that counselling enables people to make. I offer a safe, confidential place to talk about your life and anything that might be confusing, painful and difficult. Most of us have times in our lives when we feel distressed, confused or overwhelmed and it can be a relief to talk to someone who is outside the situation.'

Gabriela integrates different approaches to meet the specific needs of each client, including: Psychodynamic Counselling, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Couples Counselling, Anger Management, Stress Management, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy techniques (CBT), Transpersonal counselling, Body-Oriented therapy (SHEN) and tools for self awareness such as breath work, drawing, writing, visualisation, relaxation, meditation and Mindlefulness.
